What is Red Light Therapy?

Red light therapy (RLT) for facial treatments, also known as low-level light therapy (LLLT), is a non-invasive treatment that uses red low-wavelength light to penetrate the skin. It’s known for promoting healing and rejuvenation, improving skin appearance, and treating various dermatologic conditions. Red light penetrates the skin and stimulates the mitochondria (the energy-producing centers of cells), enhancing cellular function and increasing collagen production, cell repair, and skin regeneration. RLT is used to treat skin texture-tone- and pigmentation problems, acne, and scars. It helps reduce inflammation and improve circulation. Red Light Therapy with a LUMAFUSE hydrogel sheet mask maximizes the rejuvenating light penetration into the skin, while LED infuses restorative actives in LUMAFUSE deeper into the skin.
